40 hrs/wk; Evening hours with overnight coverage and every 3rd weekend. Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, utilizing age-appropriate phlebotomy techniques. Process collected specimens efficiently and accurately. Utilize the computer system for ordering tests and retrieving results. Respond to phone inquiries, handle test orders, and assist in problem-solving as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned to support laboratory operations. Operate point of care testing devices as required. Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment. Strong critical thinking skills are essential for this position. High school diploma or GED required. Previous medical knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory. Phlebotomy training will be provided for the selected candidate.
