Clarkson College is currently seeking a Professional Development Instructor.
The course instructor will teach American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course using approved curriculum.
Required Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent required.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider certification required.
Minimum two (2) years' working experience in a health care occupation or field requiring the utilization of basic life support skills is required.
Excellent communication and instructional skills required.
Current valid motor vehicle operator's license and ability to meet and maintain insurability requirements as defined by the fleet automobile liability insurance carrier required.
Ability to work with a varied population of individuals required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in use of classroom equipment (computer, projector, electronic bulletin board, TV, DVD recorder) preferred.
Proficient in use of course specific training materials and equipment (medical manikins, barrier devices, external automated defibrillator) preferred.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor certification preferred.
Certification or licensure in a health care field, preferred.
